Amidst Chinese geopolitical tensions, Motorola canceled this month's Razr 2022 launch event. Now that the phone has been launched in China on August 11, it has been revised to a new date. A powerful chipset, new cameras, and an improved display are part of its features.
It's finally here, the third version of the Moto Razr. Here's everything you need to know.
Detailed specifications and pricing for Motorola Razr 2022
Its main inner OLED display measures 6.7 inches, just like its predecessor. There is a 144Hz refresh rate on this panel and it supports HDR10+. When you fold the clamshell phone, the panel folds in half thanks to a new hinge design.
When the phone is opened, the 32MP front camera is accessible through a punch-hole design on the main screen. In addition, an OLED panel with 60Hz is used for the external display.
As the first Razr phone to migrate from the Snapdragon 7-series bucket to the Snapdragon 8-series, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC. In addition, there are fifty-megapixel primary and thirteen-megapixel ultrawide sensors.
Powered by a 3500mAh battery with 33W fast charging, this device comes with all-day battery life. There are also dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, DC dimming, RAW support, Motorola's own MyUI 4.0 skin, and Android 12 underneath.
With the inner display opened, the Razr 2022 will have a thickness of 7.62mm instead of 16.99mm when folded. As well as weighing 198 grams, it will also be compact.
Prices for the phone start at CNY 5999 (roughly Rs 70,884) on the company's website in China. So far, Motorola hasn't confirmed if the device is available internationally, so we can't promise that you'll be able to buy one in India.
